Due to numerous accidents in the past, we do not allow rebar in camp. No camper is permitted to use rebar for their setup. The camp provides a lag screw/chain link setup that you can use towards fastening your structure to the ground. At the end of the burn upon breakdown, you are welcome to keep the lag screw/chain link setup or return it to the camp’s collection. The money raised by this goes towards the purchase of camp drivers to allow for easy driving of lag screws and replace the pieces that get bent, broken, or worn out. You can add to the number of lag screws you will need later in the process, but you are encouraged to estimate how many you will need before June 30.
